Ralph Lauren Shoot

Siesta Key, Fl., sand, and a couple of palm trees is all you need for that perfect capture. Here’s Mikiah Nicole, my daughter, being just as sweet as can be.

It’s rough, but somebody’s gotta do it.  The camera

has always been very nice to Mikiah and she loves

it. (Just as long as it’s a still camera) Motion pics

are another story!

Dog Modeling

This is Mikiah, my seven year old, with her faithful furry friend, Chloe Marie. Chloe is a three year old Shiba Inu and is the best doggy ever!

She really does love the beret and sweater. (Mikiah that is)

She’s been dressing up Chloe since they were both pups so I know Chloe doesn’t mind.

After all, this pic was taken in the middle of January in Sarasota, Fl.

It was a horrifying 62 degrees at 3pm. (brrrrr)

Sid Ganis, President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, announced The Oscars are going old school as far as the Best Picture category is concerned. There will now be 10 pictures looking to grab Oscar around the mid section instead of 5 on March 7th, 2010.

“After more than six decades, the Academy is returning to some of its earlier roots, when a wider field competed for the top award of the year,” said Ganis. “The final outcome, of course, will be the same – one Best Picture winner – but the race to the finish line will feature 10, not just five, great movies from 2009.”

Jerry’s Famous Deli

It doesn’t matter which one you go to, (I’m partial to the Encino locale but only because I used to wait tables there!) but wherever you decide, you have to get a piece of red velvet cake. A nice bowl of matzah ball soup is awesome as well. The sandwiches are awesome. THE WHOLE PLACE IS AWESOME! Visit Jerry’s today. Besides… you never know who’ll you’ll be sitting across from.

What’s your favorite dish at Jerry’s?

Thanks for the pic, JLeighB!
