This is Mikiah, my seven year old, with her faithful furry friend, Chloe Marie. Chloe is a three year old Shiba Inu and is the best doggy ever!
She really does love the beret and sweater. (Mikiah that is)
She’s been dressing up Chloe since they were both pups so I know Chloe doesn’t mind.
After all, this pic was taken in the middle of January in Sarasota, Fl.

Sid Ganis, President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, announced The Oscars are going old school as far as the Best Picture category is concerned. There will now be 10 pictures looking to grab Oscar around the mid section instead of 5 on March 7th, 2010.
“After more than six decades, the Academy is returning to some of its earlier roots, when a wider field competed for the top award of the year,” said Ganis. “The final outcome, of course, will be the same – one Best Picture winner – but the race to the finish line will feature 10, not just five, great movies from 2009.”

It doesn’t matter which one you go to, (I’m partial to the Encino locale but only because I used to wait tables there!) but wherever you decide, you have to get a piece of red velvet cake. The Don and Gee Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting is the world’s most esteemed screenwriting competition. Each year up to five $30,000 fellowships are awarded to authors who have previously earned less than $5,000 writing for film or television.
